PISCES TECHNOLOGY

Rim Engineering & Materials.

Explore how rim construction, material selection and dimensional precision work together to support strength, durability and complete-wheel performance.

01 / RIM CONSTRUCTION

The Rim Is the Structural Foundation.

The rim carries tyre loads, receives spoke tension and defines the outer geometry of the wheel. Pisces uses 7000-series aluminium and precision CNC machining to establish the dimensional accuracy and structural foundation required by the complete wheel assembly.

7000-Series Aluminium

High-strength aluminium provides the balance of structural capability, low mass and machinability required for a precision motorcycle rim.

02
CNC-Machined Profile

Precision machining controls the rim profile, spoke interfaces and critical dimensions that determine complete-wheel geometry.

03
Complete-Wheel Foundation

The rim works together with the hub and spoke network to carry tyre load, spoke tension and repeated riding forces as one structure.

02 / STRUCTURAL PROFILE

Material Where the Rim Needs It.

Rim strength depends not only on alloy selection, but also on where material is placed. The reinforced centre section adds material around the spoke interface and the area where tensile loads are concentrated.

REINFORCED CENTRE SECTION UP TO 12 MM

Additional section depth supports the spoke interface and reinforces the area where tensile loads are concentrated.

CONTROLLED ROUNDNESS

Geometry Is Part of the Engineering.

Dimensional consistency helps preserve accurate wheel geometry throughout assembly and supports repeatable spoke positioning and alignment.

03 / DIMENSIONAL PRECISION & MATERIAL SELECTION

Different Components. Different Jobs.

A complete spoked wheel depends on more than rim strength alone. Rim material, hub construction and spoke material each perform a different structural role while working within the same wheel geometry.

7000-Series Aluminium

Strength with Machinable Precision.

7000-series aluminium combines high strength, low mass and machining capability for the structural outer profile of the wheel.

02 / HUB

High-Grade Aluminium

A Precise Structural Centre.

The aluminium hub provides a rigid centre structure and the dimensional accuracy required around axle, brake and wheel interfaces.

03 / SPOKES

Stainless Steel

Strength Across the Spoke Network.

High-strength stainless-steel spokes combine tensile strength, corrosion resistance and long-term durability across the wheel structure.

04 / COMPLETE-WHEEL PERFORMANCE

Strength. Precision. Response.

Material selection and controlled geometry matter when they work together in the finished wheel. Rim profile, hub accuracy and spoke tension combine to determine how the complete structure carries load and maintains alignment.

01

Structural Resistance

Material selection and section geometry support repeated road and off-road loads across the complete wheel structure.

02

Deformation Control

A reinforced rim profile helps resist permanent deformation when the wheel is exposed to impact and repeated load.

03

Wheel Precision

Controlled geometry supports consistent alignment, spoke tension and predictable complete-wheel response.
